Keilor Thunder Team News
Keilor are a new team in the NBL1 but have immediately proven they compete even against the best teams. However, they lack the experience and have a very modest 2-9 record. They could have certainly done better with all the talent in their team but it is still not too late.
This Sunday they will get a great opportunity to win at home against a fatigued Chargers side. At home they already beat the Melbourne Tigers and the Bendigo Braves and can be dangerous against anyone because they lost the majority of their games at the very end by a couple of points.
Unlucky season so far but with former very promising NCAA prospect Jacob Lampkin leading their team they could still make the playoffs. Although Hobart will be without a key player, they are still a force to be reckoned with but can´t be favourites by more than four points.
Welcome to #NBL1South, @CaseyCavaliers and @KeilorThunder! 🤝
The Cavaliers and Thunder both played in the Big V competition this year and will take the next step up in 2022 💪

Hobart Chargers Team News
The Chargers are one of the two Tasmanian teams in the league and currently find themselves on a road trip in Australia´s mainland. Being isolated on an island from the majority of other teams hasn´t prevented them from achieving excellent results. Hobart have always had some of the best sponsors that allowed them to compete for the title and this season is no different.
Last season it was really a joy to watch Hobart with their top tier superstars dominating but this year has turned into a grind. The Chargers flexed their budget and secured the services of NBL names like Harry Froling, Jarred Bairstow and Sam McDaniel. These players didn´t join them immediately so the Chargers were inconsistent at the start but have found their groove recently with their new firepower.
After playing in the distant Mount Gambier on Saturday, they will have to travel over 400 kms back to Melbourne to face Keilor on Sunday. Situation becomes even tougher for them if we know they are without their main star scorer Sam McDaniel, who got selected to represent the Australian Boomers in the upcoming FIBA qualifiers.
A massive congratulations to Sam McDaniel on being named in the Australian Boomers Team for the upcoming FIBA World Cup Qualification Games in Melbourne. #FIBAWC #NBL1 https://t.co/BNM1JiqnJi

Keilor Thunder vs. Hobart Chargers Prediction
Keilor will be rested and ready against the Chargers who travel from Tasmania to first play one of the best teams in the league and then travel back to Melbourne to face a very unpredictable home team that is capable of beating anyone.
We think the hosts will be able to keep up with Hobart and maybe even win the game so we are backing them to cover the spread.
