John Millman
The best result in his career, John Millman achieved in 2018 when he defeated Roger Federer in the US Open fourth round. Quarterfinals on that grand slam launched him in top40 on the ATP rankings and since then he has never been outside top 100 players in the world. Less than two years ago, Millman won his only ATP tournament when he defeated Adrian Mannarino 2-0 (7:5, 6:1) on ATP 250 in Astana.
His best result this year is the semifinals of the ATP 250 tournament in Delray Beach where he was defeated by Reilly Opelka. Millman can play solidly on the grass, and he made it to the third round of Wimbledon twice in his career. Last year here, he was defeated in first round by Roberto Bautista Agut after four sets. In preparation for this year’s Wimbledon, Millman played several tournaments on grass but didn’t shine. He had a couple of unexpected defeats, although he recorded three consecutive wins at Eastborne, including the one against Sebastian Korda. On that tournament, he was defeated by Alexander Bublik without much resistance, it was 2-0 (6:4, 6:2).

Miomir Kecmanovic
This year, Miomir Kecmanovic is playing the best tennis of his life, which led him to the best position in his career, which is the 30th place on the ATP rankings. He reached quarterfinals at the Masters in Indian Wells and Miami, and had a solid performance in both previous grand slams. At the Australian Open he was knocked out in the fourth round by Gael Monfils, while at Roland Garros he was defeated by Daniil Medvedev in the third round.
Kecmanovic played twice at Wimbledon in his career and both times he was eliminated in the second round. However, in preparation for this year’s Wimbledon he didn’t play well on grass. In Halle and Mallorca, he was eliminated immediately at the start of the tournament by Alex Molcan and Oscar Otte, without winning a single set. Kecmanovic is a better player than Millman and he will certainly enter this clash with more confidence, but the fact is that he has been in poor form lately and it is possible that he will need some time until he finds the right rhythm.

H2H
This will be the fourth clash between Millman and Kecmanovic, and the Serbian tennis player is leading 2-1. Two months ago, they played against each other on the ATP tournament in Belgrade, which was played on clay, and Kecmanovic won 2-0 (6:4, 7:6).
John Millman vs. Miomir Kecmanovic Prediction
Overall, Kecmanovic is a better player than Millman, but the Australian prefers to play on grass. It is expected that we’ll see at least four sets in this match, with at least one tie-break which should be enough for more than 37 games in this match.
