Fantasy Premier League GW15 – Captaincy Options
An extremely interesting and exciting Premier League weekend is ahead of us. The potential for FPL points is huge, so every player in the starting line-up of a Fantasy Premier League team is crucial and his performance can be decisive.
As there are only two rounds left before the start of the World Cup, it is extremely important to know how to choose the right captain in order to be able to make a difference compared to other FPL managers. Today I present to you the three best solutions. I scored 63 points (no chips used) in GW14, and I am currently 37k overall, and I sincerely hope that the progress will continue after this week. Here are my captaincy options for GW15:
Erling Haaland (£12.1, 80.8% ownership, Manchester City vs. Fulham)
Although he did not play in the last round, Haaland started training and it seems that he could be in the starting 11. If so, then those who sold him made a huge mistake. I personally do not think that Fulham is a team that Manchester can demolish, but there is no better option than Erling as far as the captain’s choice is concerned at the moment. So far he has brought 117 points to FPL managers and there is no reason not to trust him.
Kevin De Bruine (£12.5, 34.8% ownership, Manchester City vs. Fulham)
The ideal situation is that Haaland and De Bruine both play. However, if it happens that Erling is not part of the team, then the option is to put a Belgian who plays in excellent form as the captain. I personally made Erling the captain and Kevin the vice-captain, and I am covered in the best possible way. De Bruine is irreplaceable in City’s current line-up, and goals and assists can be expected from him.
Harry Kane (£11.6, 25.3% ownership, Tottenham vs. Liverpool)
Maybe this surprises you, since Tottenham is playing against Liverpool, but this could actually be an interesting choice. Liverpool are playing in bad form, and this could be a tough game for them. Kane is one of the players who is not affected by the opponents much, so there is a possibility that he will play fantastically on Sunday.
