Fantasy Premier League GW13 – Captaincy Options
In the 13th round, the captain’s decision will primarily focus on a select few players from the top teams. Manchester City and Liverpool have straightforward schedules, and Arsenal players are also good options.
After a round in which the options of the Citizens and the Gunners were not available, many FPL managers are looking forward to their return and the duels against Brighton and Southampton.
Apart from them, the Reds have won two games, and in the upcoming round, they are visiting last-placed Nottingham Forest at the City Ground. We should not forget the Spurs, who have a slightly more difficult task against Newcastle.
Erling Haaland (£12.1m) – 82.1% TSB
The Norwegian predator took a break in the previous round and thus gave some freedom to all FPL managers to choose another option as captain. Erling Haaland (£12.1m) is coming back, and his Manchester City will play against Brighton at their stadium.
The Seagulls are in a rut; they have lost their last four games, and they failed to score against Nottingham Forest in the previous round. So it’s not the best time for them to take this trip to the Etihad.
What more needs to be said about Haaland than has already been said? It was only his second Premier League game in which he failed to register a goal, and that was against Liverpool last weekend. As a result of his 15 goals in 10 games, he is still the primary captain’s choice.
Mohamed Salah (£12.8m) – 33.2% TSB
Despite not scoring against West Ham on Wednesday, Mohamed Salah (£12.8m) is one of the best and most popular options for the captain’s armband ahead of GW13.
