EuroLeague Winner Odds 2026/27: Season Starts September 24
Olympiacos start the 2026/27 EuroLeague as favorites after winning the title in May 2026. The season tips off on Thursday, September 24, and the market prices them close to 4.00.
An outright bet is a wager on who lifts the trophy at the end of the season. You place it once, and it settles in May 2027. That long horizon is exactly why the price you take now matters more than the price you take in January.

No public prices exist yet for any club outside that top four. That gap is the first thing I look at, because early value usually sits with an unpriced contender.
Why Olympiacos Start in Front
Olympiacos beat Real Madrid 92 to 85 in the final on May 24, 2026. It was their fourth title and their first since 2013. Evan Fournier took the Final Four MVP award.
They also did something no club had managed before. They finished first in the regular season at 26 wins and 12 losses, then converted that into the trophy.
Their summer was quiet by design. Jean Montero - En jean montero olympiacos valencia euroleague transfer, Codi Miller-McIntyre, and Mbaye Ndiaye came in. Thomas Walkup left for Dubai, and Moustapha Fall joined Panathinaikos.
Continuity is the whole case. Three of the four favorites changed head coach this summer. Olympiacos did not.
Panathinaikos: The Obradović Return
Željko Obradović is back at Panathinaikos, signed through 2029, at the club he left in 2012. That is the biggest story of the European summer.
The roster around him is heavy. Guerschon Yabusele arrived from the NBA. Sylvain Francisco, Isaac Bonga, Brancou Badio, and Moustapha Fall all signed. Kostas Sloukas, Kendrick Nunn, Nigel Hayes-Davis, Mathias Lessort, and Juancho Hernangómez stayed.
Here is the problem: the price has not fully absorbed. Kendrick Nunn had arthroscopic surgery on a torn medial meniscus in his right knee on August 19. He is out six to eight weeks. Nigel Hayes-Davis fractured a metacarpal in his left hand and is out six weeks from September 1.
Both miss roughly the first month. A new coach installing a new system without two rotation starters is a slow start waiting to happen. If you like Panathinaikos long term, the price may be better in late October than it is today.
Real Madrid and Barcelona Reset Their Benches
Real Madrid appointed Pedro Martínez through 2029. It was the most unexpected coaching move of the summer. Damian Jones, Olivier Sarr, Eli Ndiaye, and Max Shulga joined. Mario Hezonja left for Cleveland.
Barcelona hired Aleksander Sekulič on July 22 on a two-year deal. Tyrese Martin, Josh Nebo, Justin Robinson, Stanley Umude, and Yoan Makoundou came in. Tornike Shengelia bought out his contract and moved to Dubai.
Two rebuilt benches mean two clubs that are hard to price in October. I treat both as fade candidates in the first ten rounds, and as live outright value after that.
Fenerbahçe and the Chasing Pack
Fenerbahçe reached the Final Four last season and signed hard this summer. Shane Larkin, Shavon Shields, Will Clyburn, Johnny Juzang, and Marcus Bingham Jr all arrived.
Žalgiris finished fifth last season and added Jonas Valančiūnas, Sterling Brown, and Marius Grigonis. Hapoel IBI Tel Aviv finished sixth and brought in Tomáš Satoranský and Bruno Caboclo.
Valencia made the Final Four and signed TJ Shorts from Panathinaikos. None of these four have a public outright price yet.
Where Crvena zvezda and Partizan Fit

Crvena zvezda hired Ibon Navarro from Unicaja through 2028. The roster turned over heavily. Chris Jones, Johnathan Motley, Patrick Baldwin Jr, David Kramer, Andrej Bjelić, Nick Weiler-Babb, Nikola Đurišić, and Vojin Medarević all joined. Jared Butler extended to 2028.
Nikola Kalinić retired and moved to the coaching staff. Codi Miller-McIntyre joined Olympiacos, and Joel Bolomboy joined ASVEL.
Partizan works under Joan Peñarroya. Luca Vildoza, Alessandro Pajola, Kyle Allman, and Ethan Thompson signed. Isaac Bonga left for Panathinaikos in a buyout.
For both Belgrade clubs, the real market isn’t the title. It is play-in qualification and playoff qualification. The play-in is a short knockout stage for the teams finishing seventh through tenth, and it decides the last two playoff places.
What Changed in the Competition
The league stays at 20 clubs, and the format is unchanged. Each club plays 38 regular season games, home and away against everyone else.
The top six go straight to the playoffs. Seventh through tenth enter the play-in. The playoffs are best of five, and the season ends at the Final Four on May 28 and May 30, 2027.
One club came in, and one went out. Beşiktaş took twentieth place on June 26, 2026, as EuroCup runner-up. AS Monaco moved down to the EuroCup voluntarily on a five-year license to restructure its finances.
There is also off-court noise all season. The league plans to expand to 24 teams and 21 permanent franchises from 2027/28, with a decision expected at the end of September 2026.

Three Angles I Watch Before Tip-Off
| Angle | My move | Why | Timing |
|---|---|---|---|
| Olympiacos | Back now | Continuity is their whole case, and three of the four favorites changed head coach this summer. That edge is priced in today, and it shortens with every October win. | Before Round 1 |
| Panathinaikos | Wait | Kendrick Nunn and Nigel Hayes-Davis both miss roughly the first month, while a new coach installs a new system. A slow start would lengthen the price. | Late October |
| The unpriced clubs | Watch | Fenerbahçe, Žalgiris, Hapoel IBI Tel Aviv and Valencia all improved this summer. None of them carries a public outright price yet. | When prices post |
Where I Bet the EuroLeague in 2026
BetLabel: My Basketball Starting Point
BetLabel is my top-rated sportsbook for the 2026/27 season. Check its EuroLeague outright board and its coverage of regular season games before you commit to a price.
Planbet: The Wide Market Option
Planbet rounds out my top three for 2026. I use it to compare outright prices against BetLabel, because a half-point difference on a 4.00 shot compounds across a full season.
22bet: The Pre-Season Window
22bet sits alongside BetLabel and Planbet in my 2026 rankings. Outright prices shorten fast once the season starts, so the window to take a long price closes on September 24.
